ASHBERRY 3 PIECE SILVER PLATED TEA SERVICE SET – VINTAGE Item #99516
A good looking 3 piece by Ashberry of Sheffield, the pot marked as 4 UK cups capacity. Gilt wash to interiors of the jug and bowl. All gleaming silver. The teapot has a small line dent to body on one side and a pinhead knock at the other side but its lower down and doesn’t notice much due to the bellied shape. Sugar bowl again a small dent to body in same place. Teapot interior is nice and clean with some minor wear to base. GBP39.99
SILVER PLATED DOUBLE ENTRÉE SERVING DISH – SILVER PLATED – DEAKIN SHEFFIELD Item #99517
An early c.20th silver plated entrée dish with detachable handle so that the lid can be used as a secondary serving dish if desired. Made by James Deakin and sons of Sheffield. Gleaming silver, minor surface marks and some marks around the recess where the handle slots with some corresponding wear to underside of the handle – neither can be seen with handle in place. Handle locks nicely. The very slightest of knocks to the lid rims but they don’t notice in reality. GBP29.99

UNUSUAL OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE WINE BOTTLE COASTER GEORGIAN ANTIQUE Item #99519
An older Old Sheffield Plate wine bottle coaster unusually with the middle section silvered rather than with turned wood, but still with a wooden base. Some wear/ copper bleed as to be expected to interior and an old repair to the rim showing as a small section of worked copper. The exterior retains all of its silver. Modern re-baising to underside. SPLENDID PAIR ELKINGTON 1859 WINE BOTTLE COASTERS SILVER PLATED ODLUM CREST Item #99520
A very fine looking pair of wine bottle coasters by Elkington Mason made in 1859. The central crest is of the Odlum Family (as in the Irish flour producers). Nicely pedestalled bases with turned mahogany and gorgeous flared rims with pseudo coat of arm style engravings. Both gleaming silver with minimal wear. Some wear and marks to the varnish to wood. A very nice quality pair of trophy cups – they look like they SHOULD be silver but have no markings. Each is engraved Co. Wicklow Anglers Assn Challenge Cup Major W.J.Odlum one dated 1950 and the other 1951.Major Odlum was from the Irish flour producing family. Both gleaming and fine, no dents. GBP29.99
VERY UNUSUAL BIRD WING & FEATHERS NOVELTY TOAST RACK ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED Item #99522
Never seen another like this one! The base is formed and engraved as a birds wing and the bars are formed as crossed feathers. It has a ring to the larger end for retaining a butter dish. Comes with the later ramekin and a very nice butter spreader. Bears a design registration number equating to 1895 and made by Norton & White of Birmingham. Has quite a bit of plate wear but still has a gleam. One of the underside nuts which tighten the feathered bars is a bit loose but doesn’t tighten or unscrew so one of the bars has movement, but obviously still useable The ramekin is a later replacement for the original glass and works well enough with it.
