LARGE ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED TROPHY CUP – SHEFFIELD – EDWARDIAN Item #55653
A fine looking large size trophy cup with reed & ribbon rim decoration, made by James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield c. 1910. Engraved to front with ‘Cup for winner of greatest number if points. Presented by W.L. Richens Esq won by Ethel Draper 5 first prizes, 2 Second.’ Rear side is blank. Absolutely gleaming silver, no dents or damage. Some very minor marks to interior. Pictured next to a full size champagne bottle for comparison purposes. Height measurement given is from base rim to upper rim excluding handle height. GBP39.99
VINTAGE EMPTY 6 SETTINGS CUTLERY FLATWARE CANTEEN Item #55654
A vintage bow fronted empty canteen c. 1930 for 6 settings with large size knives and relatively ‘easy fit’ for the rest of the flatware pieces, also has slots for a 3 piece carving set. The knife slots would accommodate dinner knives of between 9.5-10inch length and side knives of between 8 and 8.5 inch. Interior lining has some marks and some general scuffing to the baize below the carving set area but otherwise ok. Exterior is very good other than a green paint line to one of the side edges with a few digs same area. Underside would have originally had bun feet as evidenced by the screw holes, slight chip to underside. Overall it’s a functional thing and quite good looking from exterior. GBP23.99
ART DECO HARRODS STORES ENTREE DISH WITH LONG HANDLE – SILVER PLATED Item #55655
A deco period ‘frying pan’ style silver plated entree dish by Harrods, with turned and carved wooden handle and internal 3 section removable divider. Removable lid handle so that the lid can be used as a secondary serving dish if desired. Lid rim has a few rim knocks and a small line dent. Interior has some utensil marks and some very slight wear. Some very slight movement of handle at its pins but not an issue for use etc, handle has cosmetic ageing ‘cracks’ in the wood grain, not structural. Note that the lid is not a tight fit on the base dish rim, but it is definitely original to it. GBP39.99

A vintage pair of salt & pepper pots in the form of an acorn and oak leaf. Made by Apex. Plating is overall gleaming silver but with some obvious slight wear. Interior of pots also have some wear. GBP19.99

ANTIQUE 5 PIECE CARVING SET – SILVER FERRULES – 1888 VICTORIAN Item #55660
A 5 piece carved ‘bone’ handle carving set with sterling silver end caps and ferrules by Atkin Bros, hallmarked for Sheffield 1888, and steel uppers. Obviously the knives have seen a lot of use over the years and have a degree of sharpening wear, but they still have life left in them. The steel pre-dates stainless steel so has some slight rust related marks etc. Some cosmetic handle cracks but all are perfectly solid and useable. End cap to the sharpening steel has some looseness.
