GOOD LARGER SILVER PLATED DRINKS TRAY – SHEFFIELD – VINTAGE Item #56766
A very nice looking tray with a chased surface and floral & scroll decorated rim. Sheffield made. Raised on 3 bun feet. Gleaming silver, some very minor copper bleed to chasing and slight surface marks from use.. No dents or damage. Any dark patches in photos are just reflections. GBP24.99

VINTAGE ROLL TOP BREAKFAST DISH – SILVER PLATED Item #56767
A roll-top breakfast dish with a ladle slot so can be used as a soup tureen too. Has its interior liner trays. Retailed by Sly & Co of Barnstaple, Devon and made by Barker Bros. Overall gleaming silver but with some obvious wear patches to lid and shallow dents to one side of lid. Slight wear to legs. In normal lighting it doesn’t look so bad. Slight inner rim knock. Slight wobble on the flat. Some slight spots to interior and wear to the liner trays. Note that if the lid is fully opened up by 180 degrees and ‘pushed’ into the frame it will become stuck and will need levering off, so we advise to not open it so that it becomes fully flat! GBP74.99

VICTORIAN TWIN BOTTLE STAND – SILVER PLATED – BREAKFAST JAM & MARMALADE ETC Item #56768
A Victorian silver plated twin bottle stand by Shaw & Fisher of Sheffield c. 1870. Would ori9ginally have taken 2 pickle jars, but also works splendidly for serving up a couple of pots of jam / marmalade etc. Gleaming silver with some obvious wear but still looks great. GBP24.99

WMF ASCRIBED SILVER PLATED & GLASS SUGAR BASKET BOWL – ANTIQUE Item #56769
An almost certainly WMF made swing handled & pedestalled silver plated sugar basket with blue glass liner. Early c.20th. Plating is overall gleaming silver with some slight wear to the ridged facet edges but in reality in normal lighting this is not visible. Glass seems to be slightly ill fitting but looks like it is its original from shape. A couple of minor rim nibbles to glass. Note this is ASCRIBED as WMF, there are no specific WMF markings but it has the exact ‘I/O’ and ‘EP NS’ marks you would usually see on a WMF piece. GBP24.99

A very nice looking silver plated toast rack by James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield, the frame raised on claw & ball feet with a pierced rim and with removable wirework rack. Fine, gleaming silver, No dents or damage. GBP21.99

VINTAGE HOTEL WARE LEMON DISHES & COCKTAIL STICK HOLDER c. 1930 – SILVER PLATED Item #56771
A vintage pair of quaiche style small dishes on pedestal bases, each marked for the ‘Criterion’ hotel, together with a cocktail stick holder marked for the ‘Malmaison’ hotel. All c. 1930 and made by Gladwin of Sheffield. The small dishes could be used for lemon slices or olives etc. All gleaming silver with some wear to interior of the dishes and interior base of the stick holder. A nice assortment of vintage & antique pieces, mainly ornate, including butter knives, serving spoons (some with berry bowls) and serving forks, straining/sifting ladles and jam / sugar spoons etc. Mainly silver plated. The large serving fork has sterling silver mounts fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1895. Total of 44 pieces. Sold as seen, we have not polished these. Some have wear. All are structurally solid and useable. One smaller fork has a handle gap but still rigid. GBP59.99

A good quality vintage silver plated small Chippendale rim drinks tray with chased surface, made by Pinder Bros of Sheffield, together with a small scalloped rim bowl with chased surface by Viners of Sheffield. Both gleaming silver with minor surface marks, no plate wear or dents. Any dark patches in photos are just reflections. The Viners marks are faintly etched to rear of bowl and very hard to see. GBP19.99

LARGE GEORGIAN SILVER PLATED MEAT DISH COVER – CRESTED – ANTIQUE Item #56783
A larger sized Old Sheffield Plate meat cover with superb heavy handle, one side of the cover engraved with armorial crest with motto ‘esse quam videri’ (trans: to be rather than seem’) and the other with bird. Structurally fine, a few small dents. Some surface marks and scratches but gleaming silver and looks fantastic. Height measurement excludes the handle. GBP124.99

A very nice looking silver plated and cut glass 6 bottle cruet set by Walker & Hall, the stand having a vacant panel for engraving if desired. Complete with a long length mustard spoon by Pearce & Sons. Marked for manufacture in 1886. Stand is gleaming silver with a very small patch of plate wear and some slight ring marks. Glassware is all good, other than one stopper is a replacement with slightly different cutwork and this one has some chipping to its narrow end. Some minor interior residue to a couple of bottles. GBP59.99
