4X STERLING SILVER SUGAR TONGS GEORGIAN & LATER – AS FOUND – 102g – ANTIQUE Item #56163
Here are 4 tongs sold together including 2 larger Georgian examples, the bright cut one is 1799 by Samuel Adams, the other plain one marks are worn, the next largest are Birmingham 1917, the smallest are Birmingham 1896.. Sold as found – all have issues of some sort – the bright cut Georgian one is repaired to its bow with a visible line to bow exterior, erased monogram and some slight stress lines in the bow exterior. The other plain Georgian one’s hallmarks are very rubbed and illegible, slight stress line at monogram (not a crack). Some pattern rub to the mid sized one and a small surface ‘fault’ to one arm of the smaller one. GBP59.99
