A cased 3 piece set by Saunders & Mackenzie, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1940. Mustard spoon original to set, salt spoon a replacement. In overall good condition, some generally feint tarnish related surface marks, minor foot rim dent to mustard pot, pepper pot has some gentle body dents and a foot rim dent. Salt spoon is a good replacement. Glass liners are fine. Case has marks to interior silk lining. Total silver weight is 84g. Total unpacked weight is 422g. GBP99.99

VERY HEAVY 255g CASED STERLING SILVER CRUET SET – VINERS – SHEFFIELD 1951 Item #55252
A cased very heavy gauge silver cruet set by Emile Viner, fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1951, spoon a vintage replacement by J.B. Chatterley. Nice tankard style shape to the mustard pot and with its original removable bakelite liner. Some tarnish related marks to the silver, more obvious to salt pot body and mustard pot lid. Pepper pot and mustard pot have very slight dents to base rims. Spoon is a replacement. Case has some slight marks to lining. Total silver weight is 255g . Total unpacked weight is 553g. GBP199.99

A lovely set by Adie & Lovekin, the silver handles having a gorgeous design of a dove and foliage, florals etc. Shoehorn is Birmingham 1909, buttonhooks are Chester 1911. A sterling silver ‘mushroom shape’ pedestalled open salt pot with its matching pepper pot, both pieces Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1922, maker Wilmot Manufacturing Co. Both would benefit from some further attention. Salt pot: liner is stuck in place but intact. A few small dents to body and some general tarnish related marks to the silver with some slight salt corrosion around the rim area. Pepper pot shallow dents and surface marks. Pepper pot weighs 23g. Salt pot including glass weighs 46g, probably about half of that is silver is a fair guess. So c. 46g of sterling. GBP34.99

They have Leicestershire links to Loughborough and Ashby per engraving to fronts. Both good with some surface marks, one has very slight knock at one of its corner cigarette rests, the other has a few tiny spots to surface. GBP47.99

A super quality set of fish eaters by William Marshall fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1869. Very heavy gauge silver. Finely decorated handles incorporating a small crest of a demi-lion rampant holding an anchor. Generally good with some slight use marks. A couple of the knives have some cementing at hilts but all pieces are perfectly solid and useable. A coupe of fork prongs marginally out of shape. Total weight of the silver (with filled handles) is 810g. Cased weight is 1830g. Case in generally good order with a small hole in the veneer at a lid corner, some scratches and some wear to lining. GBP359.99

One salt has a couple of rim splits but not noticeable when in use etc. 1 spoon a replacement. One of the original spoons has a small bowl split. Case has some scuffs, interior very good, one of the spoon restrainers is angled differently to its cousins. Total silver weight is 45g. Total cased weight is 208g. GBP79.99

A cased pair of small cut glass salt pots with sterling silver rims fully hallmarked for Chester 1911, along with a pair of salt spoons by Joseph Gloster Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1916. Salt pots have some rim knocks and marks etc, more so to one than the other.
