BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 1897 CASED FISH SERVERS MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLES SILVER PLATED Item #55010
A very fine cased pair of fish servers with beautiful carved mother of pearl handles and fine bright cut chasing of florals and scrolls to the main server and a lake scene. They have sterling silver ferrules fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1897. Both fine with slight use marks, no handle damage but the main server has a short mid handle cosmetic ‘line’ to its rear side and there is a tiny cosmetic surface line below the ferrule area to front of fork handle. A very minor point is that the silver ferrules are inverted to each other. Case has scuffs and lid has been re-taped to base. GBP59.99
