A lovely and hard to find set by Roberts & Belk in Old English Bright Cut for 8 persons. Includes a matching pair of salad servers, all the usual pieces but no teaspoons. Total of 54 pieces. Comes with R&B pattern guide & pricelist brochure dated 1992. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use generally light marks, slightly more so to the 4 tablespoons. Note there are no teaspoons in this set. Case has some scuffs etc and the interior top section is slightly split\/loose. A beautiful pair of folding knife & fork with mother of pearl handles having vacant cartouches. Bright cut work to each side. They bear only a duty mark and lion passant mark. Probably Sheffield made c. 1800 Overall very good for age, the knife handle has a slight flaw line in the pearl running around its end, slight marks from use to the silver and a very slight kink to blade tip.
