A lovely pair of Victorian dishes with detachable handle so that the lid can be used as a secondary serving dish if desired. Beaded rims. Ornate chased decoration to lids. Made by John Round & Sons of Sheffield and retailed by A.W. Pridham.
Condition: Both gleaming silver, one has a very shallow dent to one end of lid but it hardly detracts. The other has some scuffs to lid from where the handle has been too tightly locked historically. Both handles lock nice and tightly. One lid needs a slight 'push' to keep it tight on the base dish. Some minor plate wear to undersides of each base dish.
