A fine looking basket with profuse repousse floral and scroll work to interior and ornate applied rim and handle work. Crest of a demi-goat rampant to centre. C. 1830 in date.
Condition: Gleaming silver with some copper bleed. Some slight utensil marks to interior and a tiny pinhead dig next to the crest. One of the handle rivets has some slight movement but it doesn’t cause any issues, it is perfectly solid enough for use etc. The solder to the pedestal base rim has perished to about 50% of it, but again it doesn’t cause any issues or notice unless you have a play with it.
