Unusual Antique Steel Cigarette Case 'the Castle Dover 1906' - Gemstone Button (#100043)

This is quite an interesting case - its is made from steel that has been deliberately burnished (fire blackened) and has a sapphire-opal coloured 'stone' set button in what appears to be a gold mount (untested). The interior is engraved 'F.E.ELLIOTT FROM CAPT THOMPSON THE CASTLE DOVER 1900-1906'.
Vintage 930s Sterling Silver & Steel Cigar Cheroot Cutter (#100047)

A nice small cigar/cheroot cutter with a gently planished (hand-hammered) surface. Simply marked '930S' - probably Norwegian (Marius Hammer in particular used this standard occasionally). The cutting aperture is quite small at 1cm.
