This is a really good looking and unusual 'Patent Hemispherical' double lid roll-top raised on elaborate claw feet. Looks a little like an armadillo! Complete with interior drip tray and dish. Made by John Harrison of Sheffield c. 1880.
Condition: Gleaming silver, minor wear, some lines of wear to one lid from rotating inside the other one. This lid is missing its small shell tab handle but its not too much of an issue.
