A vintage 8 settings canteen of Bead pattern by Viners. These are silver plated on steel (not EPNS) and heavier than usual pieces, especially the knives. 58 pieces.
Condition: All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. One dessert spoon has a patch of wear to interior of bowl. One of the dinner knives handles is marginally duller than the others but not obvious, this one and another dinner knife have a horizontal 'tide' line to blades probably from manufacture when they were plated.. Although the pieces are marked as 18/0 they are definitely silver plated on steel - they were tarnished before we polished them etc. Case has some slight scuffs and marks.
