Sheffield

A nice large suite of Coniston pattern (effectively the same as Harley pattern) by Priestley & Moore. 12 of all the main pieces you need - dinner forks, dinner knives, side/dessert forks, side/dessert knives, dessert spoons + 6x tablespoons. Total of 66 pieces. Obviously the knives have steel blades and silver plated handles.

Here are 2 pairs of jam / preserve spoons, one pair having nicely bright cut handle and bowl.

2 good looking spoons in Carrington Shield with feather edge pattern (similar to Gadroon).

Here are 3 good serving tongs, all Sheffield made, including 2 pairs of salad servers and a sandwich (etc) server.

Here are 4 lovely shorted length cake knives with the same ornate handle pattern, 3 blades having bright cut work. Assorted makers.

A suite of 4 toddy ladles all made by John Round & Sons of Sheffield. 2 are monogrammed. Shortest measures 15.5cm, longest 17cm.

A lovely pair of serving spoon in Bright Cut Old English with crimped bowl rims. Made by W.H. Wingfield

A good looking 3 piece by Ashberry of Sheffield, the pot marked as 4 UK cups capacity. Gilt wash to interiors of the jug and bowl.

A good set of 6 fish forks in bead pattern, Sheffield made.

An extremely good looking 3 piece set by John Round & Sons of Sheffield, early c.20th. Pot capacity is c. 2 pints. Nice warm gilt wash to the interior of the jug and bowl which are of larger size.

A fine looking and scare piece, this is a combination egg coddler with egg cups and spoon set, complete with burner and interior 4 egg rack. Made by Lee & Wigfull, spoons are later replacements by Charles Truman Burrows

This is a really gorgeous piece of cut glass, heavy and thick with multiple 'fans' to rim, on its associated silver plated stand with carrying handle by Mark Willis & Sons. Dates c. 1905 or so.

A fine looking basket with profuse repousse floral and scroll work to interior and ornate applied rim and handle work. Crest of a demi-goat rampant to centre. C. 1830 in date.

This is a really beautiful and gleaming 3 piece bachelor teaset by R.F. Moseley - the pot is c. 1/2 pint capacity.

These really are superb looking pieces, made by Thomas Wilkinson of Sheffield, the tea pot and coffee pot having sphinx finials. Absolutely gorgeous bright cut chasing to the bodies. Gilt wash to interior of the large sugar bowl. Pot capacities c. 2 pints.
