A fabulous Victorian jug of c. 1 pint capacity with PODR registration mark corresponding to 1875. To one side of body is a repousse and chased crane with beak in the air, to the other a seated man who is capturing enlightenment in his cup from a candle.
Condition: Absolutely mirror-like, no dents, very clean interior. The only minimal fault I can find is the lower handle bone insulator has some minor breaks but its all absolutely solid. An amazing piece!
