VERY LARGE 61CM / 24 INCH ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED GALLERIED SERVING TRAY Item #57384
A very large and nicely shaped silver plated on copper galleried tray with integral handles. Raised on 4 feet. Early c.20th. Overall gleaming silver with surface marks and some slight copper bleed primarily to a small area of the flat surface. One very slight dent to surface from underside, it doesn’t really notice much. There is a very minor cosmetic break to the applied decorative rim edge, it is of no real consequence. Tea set is shown for size comparison purposes only, and is not included in this sale. GBP69.99

A c.19th silver plated entrée dish with beaded rim and detachable handle, together with an ornate stand in which it fits – the stand has a rubbed belt & buckle logo or crest to one side. Entrée dish bears makers mark for John Round & Sons of Sheffield. No makers marks to stand itself. Overall gleaming silver but with obvious heavier wear and some solder drips to the entrée dish interior and some marks to its lid where the handle has been scratching the surface when turned over the years. Some digs/slight knocks to entrée lid. Has a rim dent to its base dish. The base dish again shows some internal wear but doesn’t look so bad to exterior. One tiny knick to its underside. Makes a nice decorative prop if nothing else. GBP34.99

A very nice looking vintage 3 piece set with lion mask & paw finials, together with an additional pepper pot of slightly different design but still with lion mask and paw. Glass liners to the mustard and open salt pots. Comes with a nice couple of bead pattern salt & mustard spoons too. All absolutely gleaming silver. The liner to the salt pot is currently stuck firmly in place but no big deal. Some general tarnish to interior of mustard pot but hidden by the glass liner so again no big deal. UNUSUAL ARTS & CRAFTS MANTEL CLOCK – IMP FINIAL – SILVER PLATED Item #57420
A good looking and unusual design arts & crafts style mantle clock topped with a figural imp. The top section is silver plated on copper, the main section is silver plated on nickel (EPNS) and it has an overall planished (hand hammered) finish. The clock itself is unbranded and has a French clockwork movement. There is an English design registration number 698517 to underside of the casing that equates to 1923. Absolutely gleaming silver with some very slight copper bleed at the ridges to the top, very minor, and very minimal wear at the main body edges that you don’t even see in normal lighting. Obvious wear to the rear mechanism cover plate. One of the 4 housing screws is missing to the interior but it doesn’t cause any issues. The clock appears to works fine – we have given it a short wind test and it lasted several days keeping accurate time. GBP99.99

A high quality Italian pewter reproduction of a Greek flask with ‘1895’ date. These are no longer in production from what we can ascertain. The finish is quite superb for a more modern piece, it truly looks ‘old’. It is perfectly useable as a hip flask etc as has screw top lid and no lead (Pb) content in the pewter. A sterling silver handled shoe horn by the Boots Pure Drug go fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1910, and a very ornate sterling silver handled shoe horn by Adie & Lovekin fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1899. BPDC one: there is a tiny break in the silver at the hallmarks, you cant see it without looking through a magnifying glass and it is smooth to touch etc. Some minor handle knocks.
