2x ANTIQUE VERY TALL 22 inch CORINTHIAN COLUMN CANDELABRA – SILVER PLATED Item #55182
A matched pair of exceptionally tall Corinthian column candelabra, the main candle sticks are 14.5 inch (37cm) without their arms in place, with the arms they rise to a whopping 22 inch (56cm)! They do both have issues but nothing that stops them being used as intended. Both are overall gleaming silver. Each has some bruising with breaks to the main column, there are slight splits in the stepped plinths and wear/solder repairs to one plinth. Solder repairs to one capital. One of the central arm risers has splits to each side. Solder repairs to one arm at joins with riser. Both sets of arms have visible splits along their seam joins – not sure if this is intentional to allow for movement or not but its not a functional issue. Both are perfectly solid & stable on the table etc. Note that these are not a straight pair as there are differences between patterns and arms, one is all bead pattern, one is a mix of bead and gadroon patterns. Makers marks have been deliberately erased to undersides for some strange reason! GBP199.99
