A nice looking pair of sticks of a good size. Appear to be stamped with a thistle makers mark or similar. Both absolutely gleaming, slight copper bleed but nothing much overall. One has a historical repair at its stem join area but not very obvious & it is absolutely solid. Some minor knocks and dents & slightly off true vertical. Drip pans are also Old Sheffield but don’t appear to be original to the sticks by design, still look good though. GBP49.99

A c.19th meat cover by Mappin Bros of Sheffield, no engraving etc. Gleaming silver, some slight dents and surface scuffs/ marks, a very small patch of copper bleed wear to one side. Base rim has a small insignificant break probably at its natural seam join. GBP74.99
OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE CRESTED WELSH MEAT DISH COVER – ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED Item #54815
An Old Sheffield Plate dish cover with nicely fluted upper, engraved to one side with a Welsh armorial crest of a demi-lion rampant holding a ‘head’ supported by a crown, the motto in Gaelic reading ‘Heb Dduw Heb Ddimduw Adigon’. Comes with a good large (48cm) vintage Swedish steel tray on which its sits quite nicely. Overall gleaming silver with some copper bleed wear at the top of the fluting, A few small dents, nothing that significant. Dish is good with minor utensil marks. GBP149.99

OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE WINE / CHAMPAGNE COOLER – ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED Item #54818
A gorgeous late Old Sheffield Plate wine / champagne cooler of campana form with removable lid rim and interior removable bottle guide to keep the ice from touching the bottle etc. The body is unusually much later than usual Old Sheffield plated, probably c. 1860-70, with applied hardened metal silvered handles. The detachable rim is very thickly electroplated. The body definitely has a silver seam join visible between one handle (see photo). Gleaming with slight copper wear patches and some dents to bellied area but looks superb all the same. Water related marks to interior. GBP149.99
