A nice matching pair of sterling silver open salt & pepper pot by Fattorini & Sons fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1921 and 1922. The pepper pot has a screw top lid, not a push/pull one. Both fine, one tiny pinprick sized knock to pepper pot at the hallmark area. Some tarnish to its interior. Glass liner fine and original. Total silver weight is 65g. GBP64.99

The stopper is a replacement so that it can be used/display but it would take an atomiser top usually Has a slight rattle from some presumed loose cement to interior of the silver but it is good and solid.. A 12 piece dessert set in the c.19th Grecian pattern, made by Harrison Brothers & Howson of Sheffield c. 1860. Blades are close plated. Handles monogrammed ‘ME’. All gleaming with a little wear to blades and rear of some of the prongs. One handle has a slight gap at hilt but still solid. Another handle has its monogram to rear rather than front so presumably has been off and incorrectly reset the wrong way round at some stage. Still a good looking set. Case has some scratches and slight movement of its underside board but still intact. GBP44.99
