PAIR ORNATE PEPPER POTS – 104g STERLING SILVER – 1894 ANTIQUE Item #57477
A good looking pair of pepper pots of bulbous urn form with profuse repousse decoration, on square plinth bases. Made by Nathan & Hayes and hallmarked for Birmingham 1894. Some dents to plinths but both stand well. Hallmarks are part rubbed to one. Interiors have some slight wear etc but fairly clean. Lids fit tightly. GBP74.99

PAIR 1795 GEORGIAN LARGER SIZE STERLING SILVER OPEN SALT POTS SALTS 107g Item #57478
A pair of larger sized open salts hallmarked for London 1795. With blue glass liners. Hallmarks are rubbed to both but you can work out the date by piecing together the 2 sets of marks. Makers marks are totally obscured. One is in fairly good shape with a few shallow knocks and dents etc, the other has historical repairs and a dent to one end of pot. Both have tarnish to interiors but hidden by the glass liners. Total silver weight is 107g. Total weight including glass liners is 276g. GBP79.99

A good looking pair of pepper pots by Hayes Brothers fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1895. Square plinth bases and ornate repousse work to bodies. Gilt washed interiors. Both have some dents to plinths but stand well enough. Hallmarks part rubbed to one but legible. GBP49.99

A good sterling silver mustard pot by William Aitken fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919. With blue glass liner. No monograms etc. Very good, some very gentle tiny knocks to body, barely visible. Liner is good with a very slight and minor edge of rim chip at one narrow end. Silver weight is 33g. Total weight including glass liner is 73g. GBP34.99

A fine looking larger sized mustard pot by Stokes & Ireland, fully hallmarked for Chester 1897. Complete with blue glass liner. No monograms etc. Very good, no dents, minor surface marks and some feint tarnish related marks. Hallmarks are part rubbed to body, date letter is clear to the inside of lid. Liner is very good with a couple of tiny rim fleabite sonly (negligible). Silver weight is 101g. Total weight including glass liner is 195g. GBP74.99

PAIR STERLING SILVER OPEN SALT POTS INITIAL ‘C’ – SHEFFIELD 1888 – 96g – ANTIQUE Item #57483
A good looking pair of open salts raised on ball feet with semi-fluted bodies. Made by James Deakin & Sons and fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1888. Each is monogrammed with a single initial ‘C’ to one side of body. Complete with blue glass liners. Both overall very good, one has a very slight inner rim dent. Some slight tarnish marks to interiors but hidden by glass liners. Liners not an absolutely perfect fit but quite close. One liner has a slight inner rim chip. Total silver weight is 96g. Total weight including glass liners is 188g. GBP74.99

ANTIQUE GERMAN 70G SILVER TRENCHER SALT – WHITE METAL Item #57484
A good looking older German salt pot with wavy stepped rim base and fluted body with wavy rim. Just marked with a single regional mark that looks to be a Frankfurt or Lubeck marking. Structurally fine, no dents. Single marking only so technically sold as ‘white metal’. GBP39.99

FABULOUS VICTORIAN CUT GLASS / CRYSTAL FRUIT TRIFLE BOWL STERLING SILVER 1894 Item #57485
An outstanding large piece of cut glass / crystal with good sterling silver rim fully hallmarked for London 1894. The amount of work that went into the cutting is exceptional with each raised diamond hobnail having a star cut to it etc. Star cut pedestal base. No damage to glass other than one tiny fleabite nibble at the ‘flared shoulder area’, it is really nothing, and just a few minor scratches to interior from use. Obviously scratches from the years to underside of the pedestal base. Silver rim is also fine. Makers mark is part rubbed. GBP79.99

SET OF 3 HEAVY CRYSTAL DECANTERS STERLING SILVER RIMS LONDON 1966 / 1968 – 5.5kg Item #57488
A good set of 3 exceptionally heavy weight decanters by Israel Freeman & Son Ltd, 2 hallmarked for London 1966 and one for 1968. Generally very good for age. One has a very small chip to a shoulder corner and a tiny thumbnail shape ‘crack’ to interior neck top (see the photos with ‘arrows’ to point this out). This one also has slightly darker interior neck cement than the other 2. One stopper has a couple of very tiny fleabites to top, another has a tiny fleabite to underside of stopper. Some bloom to interiors. Some small scratches to the silver rims from stopper use. Sizes vary slightly. GBP179.99

A gorgeous pair of sticks by Elkington, electrotyped from the lower section of an earlier tazza – the original is held in the Victoria and Albert museum (see https://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O376623/tazza/). They bear Elkington date marks for manufacture in 1880. Both gleaming silver with a lovely patina. Totally original plating. No plate loss. One of the detachable pans has some slight rim denting. GBP119.99

A sterling silver tea strainer with turned fruitwood handle, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1998 and made by ‘J.J.R’ together with its matching base also fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1998 but made by K.M. Silver. The tab shell to the strainer has some slightly crude solder overspill to one side, either a repair or that it is how it was made. Base stand is fine. Stand weighs 64g. Teas trainer with its handle weighs 39g. GBP79.99

A sterling silver salt spoon in fiddle pattern, made by Wm Eley and fully hallmarked for London 1836. Also bears a retailers mark of ‘Lamb’. Monogrammed ‘CEP’. Overall good with surface marks. A minor stress line un the silver to top rear of handle just above the makers mark, it is not a crack. Makers marks are a little ‘fuzzy’ but the hallmarks are exceptionally crisp. GBP14.99

A nice looking pair of salt & pepper pots by Giurco of Peru in 925 (sterling standard) silver. Nicely chased decoration with applied figure of a Peruvian native and a llama to each piece. Lids have perforations in the form of letters ‘S’ and ‘P’ for differentiation. Both overall good with some residual tarnish marks. The salt pot lid is very pliable and tends to go out of shape easily when removed from the pot, but fine when its replaced. A small dent to this lid at top. GBP39.99

A sterling silver combination ashtray & table lighter by Deakin & Francis fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1900. Missing its 2 removable ‘tapers’ that would have been used to light from the central flame but could still be used as it us. No wick. A small body dent to inner lower rim near the hallmarks and to one of the cigar rests. Some small dents to the lighter body. The underside of the body has been adjusted at some stage to a single screw fixing from its original screw and plug, no obvious reason as to why this was. GBP124.99

ANTIQUE CUT GLASS & GILT METAL DISHES BOWLS Item #57515
A 12.5cm by 6.5cm press-moulded and cut glass dish with gilt metal rim and rococo style shell handle, the outside of rim with die stamped pattern, and a 11cm by 9.5 cm similar pedestalled dish with same pattern. Probably French c. 1900. Both structurally fine, some obvious spotting to the gilt finish but they still look quite good. GBP29.99

A cut glass biscuit barrel with EPNS rim and lid, swing handled. Made by Harrison Fisher of Sheffield, early c.20th. Glass fine and undamaged. Plating is fairly worn and there are some obvious marks to the lid but overall it still looks quite good. The handle does stay upright when needed. GBP17.99

A good looking deep cut glass jam jar by Mappin & Webb with silver plated lid, together with a good silver plated jam spoon. Glass has a very slight chip and a bruise next to it at rim, its not that deterring and cant be seen with lid in place. Plating is overall gleaming silver with some surface marks and slight wear to underside of lid at the makers mark area. Spoon fine. GBP16.99
