WMF VERY LARGE TROPHY BOWL ON STAND – ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED c.1910 – CHAMPAGNE Item #53636
A large EPNS trophy bowl on impressive ebonised wooden stand, mounted with a band of foliate & ribbon decoration. The bowl is totally unengraved. It is large enough to act as a champagne cooler amongst other things. Overall height on stand to top of handles is 36cm, height of trophy without the stand to top of handle is 24cm, diameter of top of bowl is 20.5cm. No dents. Gleaming silver to exterior with some surface marks. Interior has some darker tarnish/verdigris rings from where it was probably used as a planter at some stage, but still overall gleaming. Stand has slight marks and small scar where probably a winners shield was once mounted. GBP74.99

BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ENTREE WARMING DISH STAND + DISH – SILVER PLATED Item #53651
A fine looking c.19th entree dish warmer by an unknown maker with a good looking entree dish that fits it well by Martin, Hall & Co, retailed by West & Son of Dublin. The dish has a detachable handle. Measurements given are of the base dish across the handles. All gleaming silver, stand is fine with some surface marks to interior, some very minor body knocks. Dish is gleaming with minimal use marks, minor spotting to its underside of lid. Its handle is a replacement antique one but it works quite well with it. Some wear to handle. GBP69.99
PAIR ORNATE VICTORIAN ENTREE / SERVING DISHES – 1859 – SILVER PLATED SHEFFIELD Item #53652
A pair of good looking earlier Victorian entree dishes by Martin, Hall & Co of Sheffield bearing diamond PODR marks for design in 1859. Exteriors are gleaming silver & look lovely, some handle rotation scratches to the lids. Interior of one dish has some general wear, other one not so bad. One base dish has a few shallow dents to its flat area. Handles are replacements and although not great matches or perfect they fit well enough with a ‘push’ and twist action. Note the handles are quite fussy, you need to get the right one on the right lid etc. GBP59.99

An antique 4 egg cup cruet set by Charles J Adie of London & Birmingham, complete with 4 Fiddle pattern egg spoons by Wm Hutton & Sons of Sheffield. Overall gleaming silver but with a few pits to the tray surface, rings marks from the egg cups and a small patch of nickel bleed. Minor spots to interior of 2 of the cups. Spoons have some slight wear to rear of bowls. Still a great looking set! Note that the underside thumbscrew is missing one of its wings, it still tightens up fine with a pair of pliers. GBP34.99

A good looking James Dixon silver plated stand with 4 egg cup rings and 4 spoon slots, together with presumed original 4x ‘Traditional’ Imari palette (2614) porcelain egg cups by Davenport (but unbranded) and 4 Dixon spoons. Stand is gleaming silver and fine. Spoons fine. 2 cups have hairlines to their pedestal feet. Some gilt rub to 2 feet. SUPERB STERLING SILVER LION FINIAL on OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE MEAT COVER ANTIQUE Item #53887
An Old Sheffield Plate meat cover mounted with a superbly modeled sterling silver lion finial by William Burwash bearing duty mark and lion passant only but c. 1813-1821. Cover is gleaming silver, no obvious exterior copper bleed, minor copper bleed to underside rim. Slight dent to one side of body and the 1st band of decoration up from the base rim has a little gap at one end at another minor dent. Lion is in superb condition – note there are no hallmarks to the lion or the fixing nut, just to the band of decoration around it, but it is definitely ‘solid’ silver, it is too early to be anything else. The lion is literally ‘solid’ not hollow, the plinth on which it stands is hollow. The finial including its nut weighs 154g. GBP149.99
