A very comprehensive 1960’s canteen of South Seas pattern by Community. Comprises 12 main settings of dinner knives, side/dessert knives, dinner forks, side/dessert forks, dessert spoons, soup spoons, fish knives, fish forks, coffee spoons + 11 teaspoons, 4 tablespoons, 6 fruit forks, 6 fruit spoons, 2 fruit/salad serving spoons, 2 jam spoons, 2 sugar spoons, 2 serving/salad forks, 1 fish server, 1 cake server, 1 sauce ladle, 1 cheese knife, 1 butter knife. Total of 148 pieces. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. Most very presentable, one side knife has some wear to blade, some pieces have slight scratches etc but overall it’s a great set. Case has some scuffs/scratches but structurally fine. GBP219.99

An unusual vintage cased set of 6 soup spoons & soup ladle by John Turton of Sheffield c. 1920’s. All hand polished & gleaming silver. From front side they look very good with some use marks, mainly to the soup ladle interior. Soup spoons are fairly mirror-like to bowl interiors. A few soup spoons have slight dark spotting wear at the rear sides of bowls and a couple of handles also have spotting wear to rears. Case has some foxing marks to lining and slight exterior scuffs etc. GBP19.99
