UNUSUAL VINTAGE PLATED & GLASS CRUET CONDIMENT SET WITH PICKLE JAR Item #99716
An interesting set comprising of 2 condiment bottles with stoppers, 2 shakers for salt & pepper, a mustard pot with a nice silver plated spoon and unusually a pickle jar. It appears to be a lacquered chrome or similar plating (pewter in colour). Overall in reasonable shape for age, the plating is a darker chrome type colour and has some wear. One of the condiment bottles has a small rim chip, the other a tint rim fleabite. Minor nibbles to the base of the pickle jar lid. Slight fogging to the interiors of a few pieces. GBP29.99
ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED SPIRIT TEA KETTLE ON STAND – 1888 WM HUTTON Item #99717
A silver plated spirit kettle by Wm Hutton & Sons on original stand raised on paw feet and complete with burner and a length of wick. One side of the kettle is presentation engraved and dated Jan 30th 1888. Overall gleaming silver but with some plate wear in places. Interior is fairly clean. The rear key is a little tight in its bracket but it does insert, just not smoothly. GBP59.99

A nice looking 3 piece by Wm Hutton & Sons. All generally gleaming silver, very minor wear to plating to the teapot fluting, not visible in normal light. The teapot does have dents to its feet and a slight wobble on the flat. Interior fairly good and clean. All have slight pushes visible to interior bases from the feet and jug has a small dent to one foot. GBP39.99

A nice looking 3 piece adorned with chased birds & butterflies etc – dating c. 1875. Made by Daniel & Arter. Pot c. 2 pints capacity. Very larger sugar bowl. Gilt wash to interiors of the jug and bowl. All absolutely gleaming silver exteriors. Each piece has a small dent to lower body area on one side but nothing that off-putting. Pot interior is clean with some minor residual marks in the recesses. Milk jug has some spotting to its interior base. The bone finial riser has some cosmetic crack lines but it is just cosmetic and doesn’t cause any issues. GBP59.99

An early c.20th set in Old English made by James Dixon for Harrods Stores, the acetate faux bone handled knives with the Harrods wording to them, silverware marked with the usual H Ld Harrods mark. Comprises 6 each of dinner knife, dinner fork, side/dessert knife, side/dessert fork, dessert spoon, soup spoon, teaspoon + 2 tablespoons. Total of 44 pieces. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. One dessert spoon is a replacement by another maker. One soup spoon has a s scar type mark to inside of bowl. Knives all structurally fine, some slight marks to some of the blades and one dessert knife has a darker mark at hilt area. Case has slots for a 2 piece carving set and a knife sharpener, which are not included. Case exterior has storage marks and scuffs etc. Underside of case is missing most of its original paper covering. GBP149.99

A good vintage set by Viners c. 1960’s in Kings for 6 settings, having additional slots to make the set up to 8 settings. Case is a really nice quality one. 6 each of dinner knife, dinner fork, side knife, side fork, dessert spoon, soup spoon, teaspoon + 2 tablespoons. Total of 44 pieces. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. Nothing too heavy. Case has slight scuffs/marks. One of the dinner knife blades is mounted slightly at an angle compared to the others, but its not a huge deal. (3rd from left in the separate photo of the 6 dinner knives). GBP149.99
THOMAS COOK’S NILE SERVICE c.1884 EGYPT CRUISE TOURISM SILVER PLATED FORKS Item #99769
Here are 3 pieces used on board cruises on the Nile by Thomas Cook’s Nile Service. The dinner fork is by Christofle and accurately dates to 1884, the other 2 are by Mappin Bros of Sheffield (later Mappin & Webb) and of a similar date.
