Very Heavy 690g Weighted 11 Inch Sterling Silver Vase - London 1909 Antique (#55609)
Very Heavy 690g Weighted 11 Inch Sterling Silver Vase - London 1909 Antique (#55609)
£249.99
An impressively heavy gauge large silver vase fully hallmarked for London 1909, maker Horace & Woodward & Co Ltd. It has a weighted base but its balance point is at the lower stem area, so by simple maths at least 50% of the overall weight has to be contained in the upper section which is obviously all silver. So at least 345g of silver here, probably closer to 400g total.
