Interior is fairly clean with some residual tea tarnish marks and slight wear to interior base. Some very slight movement at the handle pins but nothing major. Milk jug good. A gleaming Victorian harlequin 3 piece set of tea pot, larger sugar bowl and milk jug. All pieces historically very well re-plated. Teapot has obviously been well loved and used, has multiple repairs to spout join area, lower handle join, lid hinge and around the lid finial as seen from inside, from exterior it still looks good and is absolutely gleaming silver Interior is quite clean but the interior spout strainer mesh is damaged, still perfectly useable though with tea-bags. It is water-tight. Milk jug and sugar bowl have some dark tarnish marks to interiors but again gleaming exteriors. GBP34.99
GORGEOUS VICTORIAN TEA URN SILVER PLATED ANTIQUE SHEFFIELD Item #57926
A very impressive looking Victorian silver plated tea urn by Philip Ashberry of Sheffield. Raised on paw feet, it has repousse and bright cut work and very detailed tap handle and exaggerated lid finial. Overall quite splendid, gleaming silver, no major body dents, the odd minor knock, minor surface marks and just a slight dent to one handle ‘wing’ tip with a small crack in the plating at this point. Some small knocks to very top of the lid finial (the ball to top) and some minor knocks to lid rim area. Tap works perfectly. Interior has some slight tarnish. GBP149.99
