18x 800 STANDARD SILVER HANDLED DINNER SIDE CUTLERY KNIVES – VINTAGE – as found Item #59424
A job lot of 18x as found cutlery with silver handles. Most are Italian 800 standard, there is also an 830 standard one by Thune of Norway. Most have steel blades but 4 of the dessert sized knives also have 800 standard blades. These are sold as seen as there is damage etc. Some are in reasonably good shape, others have dents, some are completely out of shape or have handle splits etc. We have not polished these. A vintage ‘S’ shape Kings pattern soup ladle by Butler of Sheffield. Overall gleaming silver, bowl interior has a couple of patches of plate wear and surface marks, some minor plate wear to handle. Still looks good enough. GBP17.99

One spoon has some plate wear to its rear heel of bowl area and spotting to rear of handle. One monogram slightly smaller than the others and this spoon is a few mm shorter than the other 2.. GBP14.99

WEMBLEY EXHIBITION 1924 SILVER PLATED CAKE KNIFE – VINTAGE Item #59430
A silver plated cake knife with amber coloured early plastic handle and sterling silver ferrule. Wembley Exhibition stamped to the blade – presumably as there is no year mentioned it will be the first one (1924). Plating is a little worn but overall gleaming silver. Handle has some minor scratches. GBP7.99

A Georgian silver plated boat shaped salt on tall legs with clear glass liner, with a Victorian fiddle shell larger bowl salt spoon. Overall gleaming silver with some very slight copper bleed to body and slight rim bumps. Some tarnish to interior. Glass liner fine. Spoon very good. GBP19.99

A nice assortment of cake knives with chased silver plated blades. One has a sterling silver ferrule fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1900. Longest is 26.7cm, shortest is 24.3cm. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. The carved style handle one has some plate wear but still looks nice enough.
