VINTAGE DANISH PIG MONEY BOX – SILVER PLATED – DENMARK Item #53647
A vintage silver plated Danish made moneybox in the form of a pig. Complete with key. Gleaming mirror-like silver, a couple of tiny knocks to body to top area and a shallow dent to lower body on one side but its not that obvious. Any dark patches in photos are just reflection effects, GBP19.99

OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE CHAMBERSTICK with HERALDIC CROWN EARLS CREST – SILVER PLATED Item #53674
An Old Sheffield Plate chamberstick complete with candle snuffer. Made by Blagden, Hodgson & Co of Sheffield c. 1825. The handle bears a heraldic crown (appears to be an Earl’s crown) above the initial ‘B’. Tinned underside. Has some copper bleed and obvious denting to rims & snuffer, but structurally ok, no handle repairs etc. GBP29.99

A pair of sterling silver napkin rings, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1929, maker S W Goode & Co. No monograms. In a Sharman D Neill of Belfast presentation case. Both good with no dents, slight surface marks. Case has slight foxing marks to lining but overall very good. Total silver weight is 40g. GBP49.99

STERLING SILVER CHIPPENDALE RIM CRUET SET – CASED Item #54302
A slightly harlequin Chippendale rim cruet set, the mustard & salt pots by Walker & Hall, Birmingham 1919 and the pepper pot by E S Barnsley & Co, Birmingham 1917. Spoons are replacements. Blue glass liners to the salt & mustard pots. Pepper pot has some denting around its base of body area, but it doesn’t notice too much when on the table due to its shape. Dents to its lid rim that fits inside the pot but fits snuggly so no problem there. Salt pot has a small dent to one short end of body. Tarnish related marks to its interior but hidden by the liner. Mustard pot some tarnish related marks but ok. Salt spoon slight handle kink, both spoons have use marks. Case good with some marks/scuffs. Total silver weight is 112g. GBP89.99

A monumental sized handle which would once have adorned an enormous Regency period meat cover. So large that it has 2 bolts for affixing to a dome. With a bit of clever engineering it could be turned into a very attractive drawer or door handle, makes a great paperweight too! It is very heavy. The bolts are 8.5cm apart (measured centre to centre). Gleaming with some minor wear. GBP24.99

ANTIQUE CASED STERLING SILVER ETC TRAVELLING / VANITY SET – 1897 VICTORIAN Item #54311
A lovely looking leather cased set of silver lidded jars/bottles and hair accessories etc with watermark taffeta lining. The silver pieces are all Birmingham 1897, maker William Harrison Walter. Comprises 3x vanity jars, 1x toothbrush jar complete with super condition French bristle toothbrush, 1 perfume bottle, xylonite brush, mirror and glove stretchers. 3 piece mother of pearl handled tool set including scent bottle corkscrew, nail file, buttonhook, cased mother of pearl handled awl and a later ‘helping hand’ shoe horn and buttonhook. Overall very good, the handle to case lid has been removed at some stage and leather has some scuffs. Interior lining all very good, jars all fine etc, some minor interior residues. Mirror glass has slight fogging but still useable. Has its original 2 keys and lock works fine. GBP174.99

A 3 piece set of hairbrush, hand mirror and clothes brush by Broadway & Co in the ‘Green Man’ pattern, with hidden birds & faces etc. All fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1979 and in original presentation box. Overall good with some surface marks, tiny knocks. The hairbrush has a break to each side of the silver towards the handle at its rim but it is cosmetic rather than structural. Bristles are fairly good, slightly out of perfect shape. Mirror glass is fine. Some marks to the box lining. Box lid is split at one corner. GBP69.99

ANTIQUE UPCYCLED SILVER THREAD WIRE WORK EMBROIDERY BAG ACORNS & OAK LEAVES Item #54314
An interesting piece of vintage upcycling, this is an evening/clutch bag made from what appears to be part of a c.19th waistcoat or similar with finely stitched silver wirework embroidery in the form of oak leaves and acorns and with a ‘button’ decoration of floral shape. Interior is quilted and opening has a zip. Clutch strap to rear side. Generally good, a few small holes to the cotton material to exterior GBP49.99

A c.19th dessert spoon monogrammed with a single initial ‘U’. It appears to bear a Hamburg marking and makers mark of ‘F.L’. Sold as ‘white metal’. A few very shallow bowl knocks and general surface marks from use. Monogram is part rubbed. GBP19.99

A sterling silver cigarette case with ornate chased exterior, monogrammed ‘FWW’. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1926, maker William Walter Cashmore. Gilt interior. Silver is quite ‘springy’ & slightly dented, buckles a little when pushed etc. Elastic to straps as per usual have perished. Stated weight includes straps. GBP29.99
