ORNATE HEAVY 171g STERLING SILVER CREAM JUG – LONDON 1898 – ANTIQUE VICTORIAN Item #54261
A lovely looking larger sized heavy gauge silver cream jug by Charles Edwards, fully hallmarked for London 1898 and retailed by Z. Barraclough & Sons of Leeds. Just a couple of scratches above the hallmarks, probably from the assaying process, no dents or damage. Minor marks to interior. GBP119.99

STERLING SILVER 106g TEA BLENDING TROPHY CUP – BIRMINGHAM 1953 – VINTAGE Item #54263
A sterling silver trophy cup fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1953, maker ‘HM’. It curiously bears the engraving ‘ Birmingham Grocers Exhibition 1938 Challenge Cup for Tea Blending awarded to D.A. Sturton F.G.I.’ Has a push to its stem into its pedestal a little and a slight lean. Base rim has a couple of small dents. Top rim has a very gentle knock. No main body dents. GBP74.99

A lovely piece by Asprey in Old English pattern, this is a large tart or cake slice server, fully hallmarked for London 1916. No dents or damage. Some surface marks from use. A good looking mother of pearl clad sterling silver bladed fruit knife, larger size. Made by John Round & Sons and fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1909. Vacant silver shield to handle and nicely chased pearl surface. Nice cross-hatching to the closed edge of the handle. Slight kinks and surface marks to blade. No handle damage. GBP24.99

A smaller sterling silver bladed folding fruit knife with ornately chased mother of pearl handle and vacant panel for engraving. A sterling silver taller than usual cylindrical snuff type box, probably by John Douglas, fully hallmarked for London 1810. Lid bears an armorial crest of stags head with the motto ‘Je Suis Prest’ , belonging to Clan Fraser of Lovat (recently made more famous by the ‘Highlander’ series). Overall in reasonable shape for age with some dents to its base rim area & some tiny knocks to lid. GBP149.99

A lovely suite of highest quality numbered napkin rings, 1 thru 4, number 1&2 being a ‘pair’ and 3&4 being another pair by design, but they are all by the Barnards and all fully hallmarked for London 1896. They come in a lovely case by Collingwood. All fine with no dents and fine crisp decoration. Total silver weight is 130g. 3 of the velvet covered wooden semi-circular restrainers to the case have broken but they still restrain the napkin rings from moving around etc. Some marks to the white silk lining of lid. GBP147.99

A chased sterling silver hinged bracelet bangle with safety chain. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1966 and made by ‘Q.P’. No monograms etc. Internally measures 5.8cm by 5.5cm by 1.8cm and has an inside circumference of approx 19-20cm. Has a shallow dent to the chased surface area but it isn’t ‘obvious’. A couple of small pinhead sized dents to the plain side. Clasp is fine etc. GBP24.99

STERLING SILVER HOBNAIL GLASS PIN DISH – CHESTER 1914 – ANTIQUE Item #54292
A good looking pin dish with a sterling silver chased lid fully hallmarked for Chester 1914, maker J&RG, with an unusual amethyst tinted clear hobnail cut glass base. Overall very good. There are some ‘natural’ bubbles in the glass towards one end when viewed from the side, it is not a bruise, how it was made. One small dig to base of glass at interior. One small nibble to the rim. Makers marks part rubbed. Lid weighs 17g. GBP29.99

A nice collection of 4 pieces all with the same type of facet cuts to body and plain silver lids. Various dates, Birmingham 1903. London 1906, Chester 1909 to the toothbrush jar. The hair tidy jar lid has no hallmarks, possibly plated. Glass all good with no chips. Silver lids have some dents. No hallmarks to the ‘hair tidy’ jar lid. GBP59.99
