A silver plated tea pot by James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield made c. 1870 with a pedestal base and ornate repousse decoration. Marked with a ‘4’ for 4 cups capacity (c. 2 pints). Has obvious plate wear but still reasonably attractive – would look very good if replated. No dents. Some wear to interior. GBP19.99

An absolutely gorgeous piece this with beautifully cast maiden and foliate frame supports and a squirrel finial to the lid. Removable interior bowl. Bears unusual markings that we haven’t pinned down as yet but the only similar examples to this piece that we have found are from Sweden. Overall fine, no dents, no damage. An interesting suite of deco period pieces by Roberts & Belk, each piece marked ‘Monseigneur’ and engraved with the same figural design of a man. These were made for the grand Monseigneur Restaurant, Piccadilly House, Jermyn Street, London c. 1933. Comprises a 3 piece cruet set complete with blue liners & a mustard spoon and a good looking replacement salt spoon, a pair of sugar tongs and a toothpick holder pot. Overall gleaming silver with surface marks, obvious plate wear from an erasure attempt to the area around the engraving to the pepper pot and slightly to the salt pot. A truly exceptionally nice looking Victorian butter dish frame by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield with beautiful swag decoration to the gallery and a nicely chased lid with cone finial. Original tight hobnail cut glass liner with star cut base. Comes with a Victorian butter spade too. Plating absolutely gleaming silver with minimal wear. Glass liner has a smooth chip to base rim (but can be turned so that this is completely hidden by the frame struts) and a tiny rim chip. A pair of vintage silver plated trophy cups complete with lids and plastic stands. The cups are just over 6 inches (16cm) tall from base rim to upper rim excluding the extra handle and lid height. Presented in 1969 by the Walsall Golf Club. Both overall gleaming silver with some slight plate wear no dents. Some minor marks to interiors. A vintage 3 piece set with wavy rims, complete with original blue glass liners and with spoons. All gleaming silver, some minor wear to interior of the mustard pot and more obvious to interior of the salt pot but this is completely hidden by the blue glass liners. The pepper pot has some slight spotting type wear to exterior, mainly to one facet, but its not very visible in reality & some slight tarnish to interior. Some slight handle wear to the mustard spoon & slight spots to interior of salt spoon bowl but again when in use not that noticeable. Its overall a good looking set. GBP19.99

UNUSUAL HUKIN & HEATH POTTED SHRIMP POTS – SILVER PLATED – 1894 ANTIQUE Item #56912
A group of 5 silver plated handled small pot holders by Hukin & Heath with blue glass liners. We presume these would have been used for serving potted shrimps. They bear design registration numbers to handles for 1894. & Hukin & Heath pattern number 10394. All gleaming silver with some minor wear. The liners are later replacements & they are not tight fitting, some have a fair bit of movement when in the frames, but not far away from the correct sizes. The frames are all very slightly different dimensions too hence the movement. GBP49.99

A Victorian 3 piece set by John Round & Sons of Sheffield with bright cut chasing work to their fluted bodies. No monograms. Tea pot is marked with a ‘3’ for 3 cups or approx 1.5 pints capacity. Overall gleaming silver with some slight plate wear to exteriors but looks really nice. Some wear to interior bases of the jug and bowl. Teapot interior is nice and clean with some slight wear. GBP59.99

VICTORIAN HOTEL WARE SILVER PLATED COFFEE POT – GC – pre 1896 Item #56915
A silver plated coffee pot by William Deykin & Sons of Birmingham made pre 1896 as they changed their trading name after this. It is monogrammed ‘GC’ to one side – possibly for ‘Great Central’ railway bearing in mind its East Midlands source location. Capacity c. 1 pint. Overall gleaming silver with a couple of small shallow dents to one side. Interior is good with some light tarnish. A small depression to top of the handle from where the lid finial rests when opened. GBP22.99

A fine looking Princes Plate 3 piece by Mappin & Webb with faceted body shapes and nice angular handles with nice ‘upturned’ detail to the spout. Stepped pedestal bases. The coffee jug is complete with its original hessian strainer to interior and the pot looks unused. Pot capacity is c. 1.5 pints. All absolutely gleaming mirror-like silver, minor surface marks, pot has probably never even been used! One tiny gentle pinhead knock to pot body. GBP49.99

A good looking silver plated tea pot with bright cut chasing work to each side of body. No engraving. Bone finial. Capacity c. 2 pints. Made by Mark Willis & Sons of Sheffield. Absolutely gleaming silver with some slight surface marks. Some very slight bubbling to the plate in places but nothing that significant. Some body dents to the handle end of the body of the pot but these don’t detract too much due to the pot shape. Small depression to handle top caused by the finial when opened. A good looking Victorian silver plated biscuit barrel with lion mask and ring handles and foliate decoration and vacant ornate cartouche to front. Made by Mappin & Webb. Plating is completely worn back to the underlying nickel to exterior but looks pleasant. Interior has some slight dark tarnish / wear areas to base. No dents. There is a minor section of the flared rim join that shows a very slight ‘gap’ to front (see photo#5) – it is very minor! GBP24.99
