GORGEOUS BERRY BOWL SAUCE LADLE – STERLING SILVER – LONDON 1788 ANTIQUE Item #54706
A fine looking piece, originally a plain ladle fully hallmarked for London 1788 and with later Victorian embellishment with a beautiful repousse work berry bowl, gilt washed, and bright cut work to front and back of handle. No dents or damage. GBP49.99

VERY LARGE ANTIQUE 70g HANAU SOLID SILVER SPOON – GALLEON SHIP FINIAL Item #54707
A very impressively large sized spoon made by Karl Kurz of Kesselstadt, bearing pseudo Hanau markings to its bowl. The finial is surmounted by a very impressively large galleon measuring 7cm by 5.5cm. Overall good, one very small break in the bowl rim. GBP59.99

ANTIQUE SHIP & WINDMILL SIFTING SPOON – PROB HANAU GERMANY 800 SOLID SILVER Item #54708
A good looking wide bowl sifting spoon / ladle with a Galleon finial and windmill work to its bowl. 800 standard silver, bearing German markings, no makers marks but almost certainly Hanau region. No damage, marks to back of bowl from the embossing. GBP29.99

A sterling silver napkin ring with wavy engine turned decoration & no monograms. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1922. Maker probably William Adams but part rubbed. A couple of tiny knocks to body but hardly visible. Makers marks are part rubbed. There is a small pinhead sized break hole in one outer ridged section of rim above the hallmark area, probably how it was made. GBP19.99

STERLING SILVER c. 142g CRUET SET – BIRMINGHAM 1923 – VINTAGE Item #54699
A good looking sterling silver 3 piece cruet set by Ernest Druiff & Co, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1923, spoons being sterling replacements. Nice pedestalled and faceted shape. Complete with blue glass liners. Pepper pot: fine, marks part rubbed. Mustard pot: small dent to one facet and slight dent to footrim. Tiny pinprick surface knock to rear of lid. Makers marks part rubbed. Liner fine. Salt pot: liner is currently stuck in in pace but is intact, otherwise fine. Mustard spoons has some scratches to interior of bowl but not obvious due to its size, salt spoon good, these are replacements. By subtracting the weight of the other glass liner from the salt pot we have arrived at a fairly accurate total silver weight of 142g. GBP99.99

LARGE 108g CHERUBS NEO-CLASSICAL STERLING SILVER SALTS – 1904 IMPORT ANTIQUE Item #54700
A gorgeous pair of larger salts in the neo-classical style, the pierced galleries incorporating cherubs within swags of garlands and an ’emperors head’ to each side. They bear London import marks for 1904 and original 930 standard marks. Silver overall good, slight tarnish, one or two minor decoration breaks, handles slightly out of perfect shape, one head is a little rubbed. One liner unfortunately has a rim chip with a hairline tapering down from it, not all the way to the base. Total silver weight is 108g. Measurements stated exclude the handles. GBP74.99

VICTORIAN NOVELTY WATERING CAN TEAPOT – SILVER PLATED – ANTIQUE Item #54323
A rare Victorian novelty tea pot in the form of a watering can. Sheffield made. Capacity is 2 pints. Absolutely gleaming silver. The pot would originally have had another handle to its upper middle area but for some reason this has been removed and the pot historically re-plated. The silver to the top flat area is intact but has a bit of ‘lift’ to it (blistering) and a depression from where the lid scroll rests when opened. 2 small silver solder repairs to base rim on one side edge. Watertight. Interior has slight tarnish. GBP79.99

An early c.20th entree dish by Barker Bros with piecrust style rim decoration. Handle is detachable and the lid can be used as a secondary serving dish of desired. Gleaming silver, no major dents just a very slight rim knock & a tiny pinhead knock to base dish. Some surface marks, some slight wear to interior of the base dish & underside of lid and very slightly to the handle. Lid locks nicely. GBP23.99

a fine looking early c.20th tea set by Barker Bros with Queen Anne fluting to bodies, the teapot having an unusually wider handle than average, pot capacity c. 2 pints. Each piece has a roundel in the decoration to one side, intended for engraving with a monogram or crest if desired. Exteriors all absolutely gleaming silver. No dents. A gleaming Victorian tea pot with beautiful chasing and floral finial. Top quality craftsmanship. Capacity c. 2.5 pints. Absolutely gleaming silver, one small lid dent, no body dents. Has probably had a historical very professional re-plating that has not lost any definition to the chasing. Interior is clean with some slight tarnish marks and a small ridge visible from the feet from underside, but fine and intact. Solid handle etc. An ‘absolute belter’ of a pot! GBP49.99

A fine looking jug by Thomas Land & Sons of Sheffield with a capacity of c. 1.5 pints. An nice bold chased quatrefoil type design to each side of body. Absolutely gleaming mirror-like silver, some minor body knocks and a slight dent & wear patch to underside but obviously this cant be seen right side up. A lovely looking piece by Daniel & Arter, early c.20th with wicker bound handle and a fine chased design to one side of body. Lovely overall elegant shape. Nice beading to underside of spout. Would make an attractive claret jug Absolutely gleaming mirror-like silver, no dents, interior is clean with some very slight residual tarnish to the base area. One small area of wicker missing to top of handle and mid handle but doesn’t really detract. A couple of minor nibbles to the edge of the lid finial. GBP29.99

A gorgeous 3 piece EPBM set decorated with prunus chasing, made c. 1880. Capacity marked as ‘5’ cups, maker ‘J&CO’. Absolutely gleaming silver, some general small knocks to the teapot but no obvious ‘big’ dents. Slight wear at hinge. Slight scuffing wear marks to the lower spout area & looks to have a historical silver solder but well done and is watertight. A fine looking silver plated teapot with an unusual body shape almost like a knights armour helmet, very protruding ‘bell’ shape lid and raised on paw feet with art nouveau inspired leg uppers. Swags chased to the upper body bordered with reeding. Nice unusual shape to the handle too! Capacity c. 1.5 pints. An early c.20th silver plated jug of c. 1 pint capacity, chased decoration and multi-faceted upper body shape. Overall gleaming mirror-like silver but with some wear patches to either side of spout and to one side of spout at body & some upper rim wear around the lid and hinge areas. Some slight roughness to the inside in places, looks like it would have had an interior tray or similar at some stage as there are extra vertical slats to the short sides of the case. A vintage silver plated on copper larger sized punch bowl by Pinder Bros of Sheffield with lion mask and ring handles. These make great larger drinks coolers or large indoor planters. No longer really suitable for use as a punch bowl as has some heavy copper bleed corrosion & pitting to its interior. Exterior is overall gleaming silver with some general copper bleed, more so to one side than the other so if being displayed you can turn the shinier side to the front etc. One ring is slightly out of perfect shape. GBP39.99

A good looking sterling silver teapot fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1929. Monogrammed to one side of body with ‘H.B.’ Overall very good, just a few tiny pinhead sized knocks to body, no dents as such, and a very slight knock to one side of the spout tip. Lid finial riser has a minor cosmetic crack, as does the top of the finial but it doesn’t go through, more of a hairline. Interior is good and clean. Hallmarks and makers marks are part rubbed to exterior, date letter is clear to inside of lid. Priced very keenly compared with its scrap value! GBP299.99

A good looking piece by Teviotdale (Scotland) this is a mirror-chrome finish metal box with ceramic interior, the lid mounted with a good ‘cold-painted bronze’ style model of a Golden Eagle on a rocky outcrop bejeweled with diamante stones. Some miniscule flecks of paint loss to the eagle but very miniscule, box is mirror-like, no dents and some slight surface marks to lid around the eagle figure from when it was mounted. GBP11.99
