A gleaming pair of wine carafe jugs with lovely grape decoration to the handles. Bellied shape. Capacity c. 2 pints (1 litre). Continental European origin. Both absolutely gleaming mirror-like silver with minor surface marks. There is a small dent to one jug at its mid belly area to one side towards the handle, the other has very tiny dent just below handle area. Interiors are fairly clean but with the odd tarnish mark. These really are an exceptionally good looking pair of entree dishes. Detachable handles to the lids so that they can be used as secondary serving dishes if desired. Both exteriors look good and gleaming silver, handles lock nice and tightly etc. One lid has a very small dent from underside. Underside of one lid has some spotting marks, the other lid has feint spotting marks to its underside. Both base dishes overall gleaming silver with some minor digs/spots. GBP79.99

A hard to find c. 1930 silver plated tray by Barker Bros designed to take a cocktail shaker to centre and to hold 6 glasses. Has side carrying handles and raised on 4 ball feet. Most c. 1 pint tapering shape cocktail shakers should fit in the aperture, which is 8.3cm internal diameter. Overall gleaming silver with some general surface marks and some slight surface spotting/pitting but doesn’t look to bad. No dents. Some replacement nuts to underside and a nut tightening scratch.
