LARGE WEDDING CAKE STAND – ART DECO HUNTLEY & PALMERS – SILVER PLATED VINTAGE Item #57022
A large Huntley & Palmers branded wedding cake stand with sloping sides and ridged corners and a raised stylised geometric cross to centre of each side. The H&P logo is to 2 adjacent sides, the other 2 sides being unengraved. Comes with a H&P branded Kings pattern wedding cake knife too with silver plated handled and steel blade, manufactured by A.E. Poston of Sheffield. Will take a square cake of c. 14 inches (35cm) maximum. Overall gleaming silver with some plate wear (nickel/copper bleed) in places to the sides. One side has a lot less wear and could obviously be presented front side on to a room etc. Some minor dents, nothing that significant. Knife fine but does have a historical hand engraved name to front of handle, its not too obtrusive. GBP119.99
VICTORIAN OAK & SILVER PLATED SERVING TRAY – ANTIQUE c. 1896 Item #57023
A good sized serving tray with rail & ball gallery with side handles and ball feet. The central plaque bears a presentation engraving ‘Presented to Henry Oxton Maddock by the members of the Wirral Hunt Club on the occasion of his marriage to Mary Hannah Tilston’. A quick search on the web has records for this marriage taking place in Chester in 1896. (https://gw.geneanet.org/deseijn?lang=en&n=maddock&oc=0&p=henry+oxton) Structurally solid but does have a crack through the wood at centre. Its not that distracting. Plating is fairly worn. Overall its still a nice looking thing and great to be able to pin down its exact date etc. GBP39.99
PRETTY ANTIQUE CERAMIC SALAD BOWL & CUT GLASS SILVER PLATED SERVERS Item #57024
A nice looking late Victorian/Edwardian period salad bowl with multicolour floral decoration and gilt work, with a silver plated rim. Comes with a good pair of cut glass handled salad servers with silver plated uppers made by George Ernest Hawkins OF Birmingham c. 1900. Bowl: No chips or cracks just some mild glaze crazing visible to interior. Severs: fine with some minor fleabites to the glass, tiny nibbles to the very ends of handles. The pronged server has a few small spots of wear to interior of its bowl but nothing too serious. GBP34.99
ART DECO SILVER PLATED & PYREX GLASS CASSEROLE DISH C. 1930 Item #57025
A ‘high’ art deco square shaped silver plated frame with side handles and bun feet, the sides with engine turned decoration and a star motif to 2 of the sides. Complete with its original lidded Pyrex casserole dish. Frame is gleaming silver with some slight plate wear but still looks very nice overall. Glass has a very small chip to underside of the lid rim, cant be seen when in place on the base. GBP24.99

An impressive sized vintage Bradleigh Plate silver plated burner stand with adjustable height flame. Sheffield made. The ornately repousse and pierced work upper detaches from the base. Will take a circular based tea kettle of minimum 12cm, preferably 14cm but you can also get larger pans into the graduated recesses which are max18cm and max 21cm respectively. Overall gleaming silver with some slight plate wear . The base section has some dents and evidence of a good small ‘patch’ repair to underside. Slight dents to the upper flared area. WMF SECESSIONIST STYLE PICKLE JAR FRAME – SILVER PLATED – ANTIQUE Item #57041
A WMF silver plated jar frame originally intended for use with a glass pickle jar, it takes a modern sized jar quite well per the photos and just right for standard jam jars/honey pots etc. Plating is overall dull (the WMF ‘antique finish’). Would originally have had a hook to one of the vertical struts to take a pickle fork, this is missing and there is a small hole where it would have been. It’s not too much of a distraction. GBP24.99

A cute pair of vintage silver plated larger sized salt and pepper pots in the form of quails. These have moulded plastic interiors to prevent corrosion and removable plastic filler caps to their undersides.
