A vintage silver plated tea pot by Barker Bros with a 2 pint capacity. Absolutely gleaming silver, some very slight knocks to body, hardly noticeable. The inside of the pot is quite clean with minor marks. The lower handle join to pot is quite visible at its interior where it has been repaired at some stage, from exterior is doesn’t notice as it was very well done with silver solder. GBP19.99

ASPREY & CO LONDON – COFFEE CAFÉ AU LAIT POTS – SILVER PLATED – VINTAGE Item #56078
A pair of café au lait pots by Asprey with wicker bound handles & ‘coffee bean’ lid finials. These are c. 3/4 of a pint size. Lids are monogrammed with a conjoined ‘MC’ or ‘CM’. These date c. 1930. Both overall gleaming silver, the wicker to the coffee pot handle is part missing and disbound. Slight dents to footrim of the milk jug. Very slight knocks to the coffee pot spout aperture. Interiors to both are quite clean with minor marks. Hotplate shown in one of the photos is for context only, it is not included in the sale. GBP99.99

A lovely smaller sized hotplate by Asprey with wicker bound handles and original adjustable burner. These were made to take the café au lait set etc and date c. 1930. Could also be used to warm a smaller entrée dish etc. Fine, gleaming silver, no dents, minor surface marks. Wicker handles intact. Burner fully operable & has wick. A very good looking late Victorian/Edwardian silver plated trefoil crudites dish of shell form with a central ‘T’ bar style handle. Has its original frosted glass liner for the ‘dips’ section. VICTORIAN SILVER PLATED TEA POT – SHAW & FISHER 1848 – ANTIQUE – slight a/f Item #56083
A well loved & very early antique electroplated silver plated tea pot by Shaw & Fisher, still good looking but has been a little in the wars. Marked as 5 cups (2.5 pints) capacity. The lovely large finial appears to be a cucumber. It bears PODR registration marks for design in 1848. Overall absolutely gleaming silver and looks fab, it does have a broken end of foot to one front side but it has been sympathetically ‘raised’ on a small smooth silver solder blob. There are 2 silver solder repairs to one side at the body ridges. Otherwise some minor knocks & digs. Interior is fairly clean with some marks. It is watertight etc. Despite is slight issues it is still a really good looking and useable piece, and it is very old! GBP29.99
