A sterling silver & enamel spoon commemorating the Coronation of King Edward VIII, which of course never actually took place! Made by Thomas William Lack and fully hallmarked for London 1936. A good looking semi-fluted 3 piece tea set, the pot is 2 pint and marked for Wm Hutton & Sons of Sheffield, the milk jug and sugar bowl are larger size matching examples and just marked ‘EPNS’. All generally gleaming silver, some slight wear at the exterior fluting & very slightly to teapot hinge area. Interiors of milk jug and sugar bowl are good and gleaming silver. Interior of tea pot has some wear but is fairly clean. No dents other than a very tiny knock to one top edge of the teapot. GBP37.99
