CANTEEN 12 SETTINGS 113pc COMMUNITY HAMPTON COURT / CORONATION – SILVER PLATED Item #56880
A comprehensive vintage set of Hampton Court (aka Coronation) by Community for 12 settings comprising 12 each of dinner knife, dinner fork, side/dessert knife, side/dessert fork, dessert spoon, soup spoon, teaspoon + 6 coffee spoons, 6 tablespoons, 6 cake forks and a cake server, 6 pudding spoons and a pudding server, + ladle, sugar spoon and butter knife. Total of 113 pieces. In Community branded chest with a walnut veneer inlay to the lid. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. The knives are a slight mix of sizes (6 of each of the dinner knives matched sizes and 8 and 4 of the dessert knives matched sizes) but all same style. One set of 6 of the dinner knives are showing some pitting marks to their steel blades near hilts. Knives do have a tendency to move/fall out of their slots when lid is closed. The 7 piece fruit set has some spots of wear. Otherwise its generally in good shape. Case has a few scratches/scuffs but fairly minor overall. GBP249.99

LOVELY VICTORIAN CASED FISH SERVERS – ORNATE – SILVER PLATED Item #57110
A very fine looking pair of fish servers with chased foliate design and fret worked uppers, made by Philip Ashberry & Sons of Sheffield c. 1880. Both gleaming silver with minimal use marks. Rear of the fork handle has a smooth cosmetic surface line crack but it is absolutely solid and perfectly useable. Case interior is lovely. Just some minor scuffs to exterior. GBP24.99

A gorgeous looking antique cased set of servers retailed by CarlKeuhl’sNachf of Leipzig comprising of a pair of small salad servers with carved bone uppers, a pair of 2 pronged forks and a butter/cheese knives. The forks and knives have gold on steel uppers. Handles are high quality silver plated with gilt work. All fine, some slight wear to the gilt in places but structurally solid and look very nice indeed. Case hinge silk has frayed and its ropetwist thread decoration is a little loose. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use very light use marks, most pieces look pretty much unused. Case has some slight scuffs and digs to the edge rim of the lid and a slight scratch but its nothing major. A good set! GBP134.99
LARGE 12 SETTINGS CANTEEN SILVER PLATED CUTLERY – VINTAGE SWISS MADE SILCO Item #57124
A lovely and high quality set of silver plated cutlery/flatware made in Switzerland, early c.20th in a large sized chest with pink silk interior. Knives have silver plated handles and steel blades. Top layer comprises 12 soup spoons (shaped like an English larger sized dessert spoon), 12 dinner forks, 12 dinner knives, a ladle and a 2 pronged serving fork. The drawer comprises 12 side/dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons, 2 large tablespoons and a smaller serving spoon, 12 large teaspoons and 12 dessert knives. Total of 89 pieces. Some of the pieces have a monogram to rear of handle ‘sB’ (small ‘s’ and large ‘B’) – this is present of 6 each of the dinner knives, dessert knives, dinner forks, soup spoons, 9 each of the dessert forks and dessert spoons, all 12 of the teaspoons, the ladle, serving fork, smaller serving spoon. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks but generally nothing at all excessive, the ladle has some slight spots to its inside of bowl. It’s a very nice looking set. Case interior is very nice, a minor storage smell but its not at all offensive. Case exterior has some slight marks and scuffs. GBP249.99
